Union Bridge Men Indicted For Break-Ins In Frederick


Two Union Bridge residents were indicted Friday by the Grand Jury for two residential burglaries in Frederick last month.  Seth Joseph Smart, 29, David Aaron Norwalk, 21, are each charged with third and fourth degree burglary, second-degree assault, malicious destruction of property less than $500, and malicious destruction of property more than $500.

Both men were arrested early Sunday morning, May 26th for breaking into homes in the 500 block of Smoketree Court and the 100 block of Deerfield Drive. Police said the two burglaries are related, and the victims and the suspects knew each other. Authorities say the residents of the homes were assaulted and the two men destroyed numerous items.

Grand jurors on Friday also indicted Anthony Patrick Hensley, 32, and Colby Brian Cline, 35, for drug offenses. Hensley is charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, and possession of buprenophine. That offense occurred on June 4th, 2013. Cline is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.  That offense occurred on June 19th.

Both men are from Frederick.

Indictments by the Grand Jury means a trial date will be scheduled over the next several days.
