3 Found Dead In Hagerstown

Police in Hagerstown are investigating the deaths of a woman and two young children found in a car at a school parking lot.

Capt. Paul Kifer said Tuesday police expect to release more information after they've notified relatives of the deceased.  He says the woman is a native of Guyana.

He says the bodies were found in a car with Maryland tags late Monday afternoon outside Western Heights Middle School on Marshall Street.

Police Chief Mark Holtzman said the woman was in the front seat and the children were in the backseat. He says there were no apparent signs of violence.

Holtzman says the children appeared to be under the age of five.

He says the bodies will be taken to the State Medical Examiner's office in Baltimore for autopsies.
