East Frederick Rising, Inc., in conjunction with The City of Frederick, is pleased to announce that the Urban Land Institute (ULI) will conduct a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP), focusing on the East Side of Frederick on December 11th and 12th, 2013 at the Business Factory of Frederick*.
The TAP is made up of ULI members with expertise in various disciplines including land use planning and development, real estate, engineering, housing and finance. The charge of the TAP professionals is to form recommendations on how to address certain issues as identified by the sponsors. The specific topics to be focused upon are Infrastructure and Stormwater Management, Regulatory Framework and Creative Financing. At the conclusion of the TAP’s work, their recommendations will be presented to the sponsors. The public is invited to attend.

1:00-2:15 pm Introductions and overview provided by the sponsor to the panel.
2:15-3:30 pm Site tour led by the sponsors
3:45-5:30 pm Roundtable Discussions – ULI representatives will speak with stakeholders, community members and invited guests to further gather input on development in East Frederick
5:30-7:30 pm Panel Debriefing (Dinner off-site)
December 12, 2013
8:30 am – 5:00 pm Panel deliberation and works sessions
5:00- 6:30 pm Panel presentation to sponsors and the public
