Frederick Police Looking Suspect In Assault

Frederick Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in an assault last year.   Jose Manuel Lopez Rivera, 18, is charged with assaulting another man with a baseball bat in the 1400 block of Key Parkway on November 2nd. The victim suffered injuries to his face, head and body.

Rivera is described as 5'8" to 5'10", about 160 to 180 pounds. His address is unknown.

Anyone who has information on Rivera's whereabouts is asked to contact police. They can call the main number at 301-600-2100. Citizens can also remain anonymous and call the Tip line at 301-600-TIPS {8477}.

Another suspect in the case is identified as Darwin Aries-Meijia, 21, who was arrested on December 30th.  He's currently incarcerated at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
