Man Faces Charges For Shooting His Brother

 

A Westminster man is expected to be charged with attempted 1st-degree murder and attempted 2nd-degree murder, 1st- and 2nd-degree assault, reckless endangerment and use of a handgun in a felony.  Reno Louis Valianti, 38, was taken into custody on Thursday following the shooting of his brother, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

Michael Valianti, 33, was shot in the stomach outside of a residence in the 600 block of Sullivan Street. He was medivaced to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, and authorities say he's listed in critical condition.

Reno Valianti was found on the scene and taken into custody.
