Reward Offered For Information On Bank Robbery

If you have any additional details about a bank robbery in New Windsor on Wednesday afternoon, it could be worth your while. The Maryland Association for Bank Security is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of a suspect in the robbery of New Windsor Bank at 213 Main Street.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is investigating this incident.

Authorities say a white female walked into the bank, and handed a note to the teller demanding money. After receiving the cash, she fled on foot, traveling south on Main Street.

She's described as 35 years of age, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, 230 to 250 pounds, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
