The search is continuing for the suspect who rammed his SUV into the back of a Maryland State Trooper's vehicle, during a pursuit Friday. It happened in the area of Route 340 and Route 17. The impact from the black Jeep Commander forced the trooper's patrol vehicle off the roadway and up an embankment.
Sgt. Scott Rice, 51, was flown by Trooper 3 to Shock Trauma, in Baltimore. He was later released.
The pursuit continued into Virginia and West Virgionia where troopers lost sight of the Jeep.
