The National Museum of Civil War Medicine (NMCWM) invites you to join them Wednesday, December 4th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm for a Strategic Update. With the opening of the newest museum in Washington, D.C., the Clara Barton Missing Soldiers Office, there's a unique opportunity to attract DC tourist to Frederick. The NMCWM is projecting rapid growth because of the DC connection. That is why it is important to gather input from the community on the future of Frederick tourism.
The NMCWM is the number one tourist attraction in downtown Frederick with nearly 40,000 visitors walking through our doors every year. We are looking for input and feedback from the residents in the Frederick area in order to help the NMCWM better serve our community. The NMCWM is proud to be the gateway to Frederick as many of our visitors plan their trips around visiting the museum and then continuing their trip to various destinations in the county.
During this event the Executive Staff will provide information on current happenings and future plans at the Museum.
