Train rides, displays, tours of the Brunswick Railroad Museum, and concerts, are just a few of the activities planned for Brunswick Railroad Days. "In addition to the entertainment, train rides and displays, we are also going to have arts n crafts and demonstrations, and there will be artists painting Railroad Days," said Kaufman. "But something different from the previous years, we will have a 30th commemorative postage stamp that will be sold, in addition to an envelope with a cancellation stamp issued by the U.S. Post Office, and a Cache on the upper left hand side of the envelope with the Brunswick Railroad Days logo on it," continued Kaufman.
The event will take place October 6th & 7th, from 10am-5pm on each day. "We really need volunteers. In order for it to be successful, we want it to run smoothly. We attract thousands of tourists from out of the area. And we want to put on our best face for those tourists who come visit us," she continued.
Marc train rides will also be available. "There will be a Bluegrass festival, civil war music, arts and crafts, a wine and beer garden, and much more," said Kaufman.
