Frederick residents who live near the 100 block of East Patrick Street could see some water service interruptions on Wednesday. That's when the City Water Department will begin repairing the water main along that roadway.
Officials say work will begin at 5:00 AM, and is expected to be completed by 3:00 PM. They say residents may experience some interruptions in service, but it's hoped they will be of short duration.
When the work is finished, customers may notice some cloudy water. That's not unusual, and residents are urged to let the water run for about 10 to 15-minutes to clear up the problem.
The good news, according to City officials, is that gray water can be collected for outdoor use, such as watering a garden.
