Burger King is making a big move in the fast food business with the introduction of "Satisfries," a low-calorie french fry option.
The new crinkle cut "Satisfries" have 20% fewer calories than the chain's regular fries, and 30% fewer than McDonald's fries. But they will also cost a little more – between 20 and 30 cents more depending on size.
Burger King reps say the new fries are cooked with the same ingredients and in the same way as regular fries, but they spent two years working with supplier McCain Foods to come up with a lower-calorie batter. But what exactly is in that new low calorie batter?! (USA Today)
